The importance of the heating blade
HeatControl™ technology uses a ceramic blade with gold and platinum tracks for optimal heating of the tobacco product from the inside without burning it. And it never reaches the burning temperature. Therefore, as the most important part of heating technology, it requires proper care and care.
1-2-Cleaning
Before you start cleaning your IQOS, pay attention to the following useful tips:
- Wait for your device to cool down after use, not less than 30 seconds;
- do not use liquid for cleaning your device or with an instrument for cleaning;
- clean your IQOS after each pack of tobacco sticks.
Start cleaning IQOS with a double cleaning tool:
- Take off the cap and carefully tap the handle.
- Use the rotating device of the tool for cleaning.
- Use a cleaning device to remove residue around the blade.
After cleaning with a double cleaning tool, complete the cleaning with cleaning sticks:
- Clean inside without touching the heating blade.
- Clean the inner part of the cap (above and below).

How to deal with heating blade?
